What you should do next is to test your connection in the Lotus Notes Client. Sometimes, your Lotus Notes client is having hard time resolving the Server Name of a particular IP Address so, what we should do next is to trace your connection by going to File >> Preferences >> Notes Ports >> Trace. Type in the name of the server and check it in the Trace Info field the status. If it can't connect then use the IP address instead of the name, by using the IP address your Lotus Notes client will be the one who will resolve the name of the server. If you can't still connect, then probably you need to add a Server Connection document or a Passthru Server. You may need to contact your Administrator in this case
